Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy

1 Operator and scope

This policy concerns cookies and similar technologies on https://imtstudies.com/, the website of IMT — Institute of Modern Tattooing. The operator is “INSTITUTE OF MODERN TATTOOING Ε.Ε.”, a limited partnership established under Greek law.

Registered office and postal contact: 6 Kairi Street, 10551, Municipality of Athens, Athens, Greece. General Commercial Registry (G.E.MI.) number: 194013603000. For personal data matters and rights requests, write to INSTITUTE OF MODERN TATTOOING Ε.Ε. at that address, marked “Personal data”. Describe your request and how you would like to receive a response. No particular form or registered postal service is required.

The Privacy Policy explains personal data processing purposes, lawful bases, recipients, transfers, retention criteria and your rights. This policy supplements that notice concerning storage of or access to information on your device.

2 Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored through a browser. Corresponding rules may apply to local storage, session storage, tracking pixels and other technologies that store or read information on a device. Whether consent is required depends on the actual purpose and function, not the name or whether the technology comes from the same domain.

Sending an HTTP request to display a page is not automatically the same as storing a cookie. A simple external link also differs from embedded content that loads within the page and communicates with third parties.

3 Necessary functions and consent

Under Article 4(5) of Greek Law 3471/2006, storing or accessing information on a device requires prior information and consent, unless its sole purpose is transmitting a communication or it is strictly necessary for a service you expressly request. The exemption is restricted to that necessary purpose.

Visitor analytics, advertising, profiling and tracking across websites are not necessary merely because they benefit the business. They must not be activated on the basis of a visit or acceptance of the Privacy Policy.

Silence, scrolling, continued browsing and preselected options do not constitute consent. Refusing optional technologies must not prevent access to basic information and application preparation.

4 Functions of the current page

The application page provides fields, a preview and text copying. It does not provide electronic submission to IMT. The preview displays the information you enter; copying places the text on your device’s clipboard at your direction. This is a function you request by choosing to copy, not subscription to marketing.

The clipboard is not an IMT cookie and has no expiry set by IMT. Its contents remain or are replaced according to the operating system, any clipboard history or synchronisation and your actions. Pasting or sending through another application is your choice and is subject to that application’s terms and privacy information.

The temporary presence of information in page fields should not be understood as completed submission. Browser memory or restoration of fields may depend on your device’s autofill and session restoration functions.

The Instagram link takes you to an external service when you select it. Cookies and data use within that service are governed by its own policy and your choices. You do not need to follow the link to read IMT content.

This notice does not establish an approved list of advertising or analytics cookies or authorise their installation. Before any such activation, specific accessible information must identify each technology, its provider and third parties with access, purpose, duration and withdrawal method, and prior consent must be obtained. Absence of a choices mechanism does not permit optional technologies to be used without consent.

5 Choices and device controls

You may browse without completing the form. Copying is optional. On a shared device, clear the fields and clipboard when finished. You can also manage autofill, website data storage and clipboard history through browser or operating system settings.

For website data, find the browser’s privacy or cookies and site data settings, select imtstudies.com and remove the associated stored information. The exact route varies by browser and version. Deletion may remove saved preferences, while disabling necessary functions may affect the page.

Where consent is requested, acceptance, rejection and withdrawal must be equally easy. Withdrawal stops future use for the relevant purpose without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Browser settings do not replace the website’s obligation to obtain consent, and deletion on your device does not automatically delete data already received by a recipient. For that data, you may exercise the rights explained in the Privacy Policy.

6 Contact and rights

For information about page technologies or personal data processing, use the postal address in section 1. Where possible, describe the relevant page and action without sharing passwords.

Where the information constitutes personal data, access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability rights apply as explained in the Privacy Policy. You may also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority through www.dpa.gr.

7 Updates

The date and version appear at the beginning of this policy. A new function or changed purpose requiring consent is not automatically covered by an earlier choice. The corresponding information and choice must be provided before the new processing is activated.
