Christos Zorbas
Founder & Lead Tattoo Educator | Award-Winning Tattoo Artist | Photo Realism & Color Specialist
Christos Zorbas is the Founder and Lead Educator at IMT, as well as an award-winning tattoo artist with fifteen years of experience and an international presence in Photo Realism and Colour Realism. His international distinctions, the co-founding of a tattoo studio with locations in Thessaloniki and Athens, the creation of the NoMorePain Tattoo Project, and now the founding of the Institute of Modern Tattooing reflect a career that brings together artistic recognition, entrepreneurial thinking, and a meaningful contribution to contemporary tattoo education.
Tattoo Educator | Black & Grey Realism, Colour Realism
Kostas Platanias is a tattoo artist with seven years of professional experience, specialising in Black & Grey and Colour Realism. His journey began with a six-month apprenticeship under Christos Zorbas, followed by specialised training in both techniques and an online seminar with DB Kaye. His experience includes a consistent presence in tattoo studios and guest work in New York, while his work stands out for its realistic portraits, large-scale compositions, and sleeves.
Elisavet Malafeeva is a Permanent Makeup Artist and Educator with twelve years of professional experience in beauty and PMU. Her training in Greece and abroad, extensive teaching experience, and distinction as the first awarded Greek artist in Permanent Makeup have shaped her strong professional presence. Aesthetic judgment, facial analysis, and a personalised approach are central to both her work and her teaching philosophy.
Petros Atsalis began his career in barbering and men’s grooming before moving professionally into Scalp Micropigmentation. His four years of experience in SMP include three masterclasses in the Black Rain technique with Tony Abbagnato, as well as experience in demanding restorative treatments that enhance the appearance of hair. His work now also extends to training new professionals, with a focus on technical precision and professional consistency.
